Preparing before using Kakao Taxi

To use Kakao Taxi, of course, the app must be installed.

If you search Kakao T on the Play Store or App Store, you can find it right away.

You can find it easier if you search Kakao T, not Kakao Taxi!

Then I will continue explaining assuming that I received the app!

First of all, you need to allow location tracking to use this app.

You have to allow location tracking so that you can accurately identify where you are and call a taxi.

You need to track the location and log in, but you can log in easily by logging in with Kakao.

Now, when you’re done logging in, you have to register your payment method.

The method of registering the payment method is also very simple.

There is a list called My Information on the bottom right of the app, so please select it here!

If you select my information, you can select the payment method management.

How to use Kakao Taxi

Then you’ll see the map. Since the location is allowed, you can see that it is currently marked near your location.

If you marked the location where I will call, you can enter where you want to go now.

Where shall we go? If you touch the space, you can enter it. I tried Seoul Station as an example.

If you press the arrival button, you can see the same screen on the left.

What we can know here is the estimated arrival time, route, and estimated taxi fare.

On my screen, I see two examples of general calls and maybe there’s a blue call.

Blue calls are assigned right away, but the fare is a little more expensive.

It’s easy to catch a general call, so I recommend using a general call!

If you press the general call, the call button comes out. You can choose to call.

If someone other than you gets on, you can enter someone else’s phone number if you press your boarding part.

So you can use it like that!

I registered my card, so it will be an automatic payment call. Press Yes.

If you press Yes, the time continues to increase.

Such as requesting a driver up to 3 minutes away and requesting a driver up to 5 minutes away if you can’t catch it.

Anyway, when you get a taxi, the screen below appears.

This is the screen that received the taxi assignment.

You can check the assigned taxi number, driver information, where it is, and how long it takes.

So you can stay at home and leave on time.

If it’s wrong, click Cancel on the top right.

However, what you need to know is that if you cancel after 5 minutes after the dispatch is completed.

The call will be restricted for 5 minutes.

If you select the reason for canceling the call and click Cancel, the cancellation of the call will be completed!
