Korea’s cultural heritage is engrossing Britain. Tens of thousands of Londoners have fallen into ‘K-Heritage Holic’.
As K-pop is added to various cultural heritage contents such as royal refreshments, sound of voice,
Korean movies, hanbok, and fusion Korean traditional music, the K-Heritage London Festival
The Cultural Heritage Administration and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation will hold a special event in London,
England, until the 25th, with the Korean Cultural Center in England, to commemorate
the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and England under the theme of “K-Heritage, a New World.”

audience’s inspiration. The performance featured five songs: singer Kim Na-ri’s lyrics “Spring Noodles,
” tenor Chung Hyeon-woo’s aria, singer Lee Da-yeon’s pansori “Red Wall Street,” dancer Han Mi-joo’s
“Taepyeongmu” and the finale “Arirang.” Each performance was held against the backdrop of
media art at Changdeokgung Palace, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, Suwon Hwaseong, Andong

Taraegwa Omija is a bundle of taraegwa and omija ade that embodies five colors, and is
designed to experience Korean refreshments instead of enjoying popcorn and coke while watching movies.
The food provided on this day was cooked locally by chefs of the Korean Cultural Heritage
Foundation’s traditional cultural complex space, “Korea House.” Tarae and Omija were provided to
about 80 locals who visited the opening ceremony, adding to the fun of eating and watching.

of ‘Korea on Stage in London’ was held at the Wembley Arena in London for the 140th
anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and England.
Starting with Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon in 2020, “Korea On Stage” has presented unique
performances every year by combining beautiful cultural heritage and popular music in Korea.
This performance, which marks its fourth anniversary this year, was designed to commemorate
the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and the United Kingdom.
More than 10,000 British people who love Korean culture and K-pop enjoyed the performance.
Along with actor Gong Seung-yeon’s smooth hosting, the group ATEEZ, P1 Harmony, STAYC, Cykers,
Boynext Door and band Jannaby, rapper Lee Young-ji and gayageum player “Made Night Night
” took the stage to present a special performance set against the backdrop of cultural heritage.
British singer-songwriter Henry Moody also performed a special performance as if he were a bridge between Korea and England.
